• Drive adoption of containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) for large‑scale workloads.
• Partner with developers and QA to streamline releases and reduce downtime.
• Build observability with monitoring/logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
• Harden security in build and runtime (image scanning, secrets management, RBAC).
• Mentor engineers and establish DevOps best practices across teams.
Required Skills
• 5–8 years’ experience in DevOps/SRE roles for production systems.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions).
• Deep experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Cloud proficiency (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong scripting ability (Python and Shell).
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and incident response.
Good to Have
• IaC at scale with Terraform modules and policy as code.
• Security tooling (OPA, Trivy, Vault) and compliance experience.
• Performance tuning and cost optimization for cloud workloads.
What Success Looks Like (First 3–6 Months)
• Baseline CI/CD metrics improved (lead time, change failure rate, MTTR).
• Production‑grade Kubernetes cluster standardized with IaC.
• Observability stack delivering actionable SLOs and alerts.
• Release process streamlined with progressive delivery patterns.
