Role Overview
We are looking for passionate and engaging Phonics Tutors who can make learning fun, effective, and result-driven for young learners (Nursery to Grade 3). You will be responsible for delivering structured phonics lessons, ensuring student progress, and maintaining high classroom quality.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct 1:1 and small group phonics sessions (max 4 students) following Spellzee’s structured curriculum.
Teach core phonics concepts — including vowel sounds, consonant blends, spelling patterns, digraphs, Magic E rules, syllabification, and tricky words.
Foster a positive and interactive learning environment that builds students’ confidence and speaking skills.
Share daily class updates and feedback through the Spellzee LMS.
Ensure all classes maintain professional standards — video on, proper layout usage, and full 60-minute duration.
Track student progress and coordinate with academic team for improvements.
Attend monthly meetings, training, and quality audits.
Requirements
Excellent communication skills in English.
Passion for teaching young learners.
Strong understanding of phonics concepts and reading instruction.
Prior experience in teaching phonics / early literacy (preferred).
Laptop/PC with strong internet connection, good lighting, and headset.
Consistent availability for scheduled classes.
