QC – NRM Executive Quality Control

Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a quality-driven individual with a solid FMCG background to manage and oversee the inspection and compliance of non-raw materials such as packaging materials, labels, foils, and consumables. This role is critical to ensuring all incoming NRM components meet our brand’s quality and safety benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

-Inspect and verify the quality of all incoming non-raw materials like packaging, cartons, adhesives, and consumables.
-Maintain detailed specifications, SOPs, and quality checklists for each material category.
-Collaborate with purchase and vendor teams to resolve material quality issues.
-Track supplier performance and assist in vendor audits.
-Ensure that materials are stored as per quality standards to maintain shelf life and usability.
-Document all inspections, rejections, and approvals; maintain quality logs and traceability.
-Work closely with the production team to troubleshoot NRM-related issues on the shop floor.
-Adhere to compliance standards including FSSAI, ISO, and company-specific protocols.

Candidate Requirements:

-Graduate (Science, Engineering, or related preferred) – Mandatory
-3-4 years of experience in FMCG Quality Control (NON-RM) materials
-Strong knowledge of packaging quality parameters and testing procedures
Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems, and report preparation
-Excellent communication and coordination skills
